MidLife Wisdom.
"Your vision will become clear
only when you look into your heart."
~Carl Jung
This month, our
Feature Articles are exploring the topic of "MidLife
Wisdom." Our participating authors provide us with
profound insights and wisdom for making midlife the best
part of our lives, as they remind us that our midlife
years can be filled with great hope, clarity, and possibility. As a society,
we
have been conditioned to associate the word
"crisis" with our middle-age years. But,
gratefully, our authors help us break this myth for good, proving that midlife
is nothing short of a joyous awakening of sprit--an opportunity to
honor
the wisdom in our hearts, and create the rest of our lives with
purpose and passion.
Author Barbara Biziou sums up midlife
beautifully. She says, "This is a time to reinvent ourselves
and make new choices based on what we truly want. It is
time to take stock of our lives, reevaluate our dreams and
goals as we make peace with what we haven’t done and
take steps towards our new expanded vision. The challenge is to look at the
changing energy with anticipation. We can throw away the
roles that do not serve and open to ones that contain more
freedom to be ourselves."
May your midlife
years be
filled with clarity, purpose, and passion!
