Adrienne's work and teachings have been a great
inspiration to me!  In August of 1998, about four months after my
father passed away, I read about one of Carol's
workshops in a Learning Annex catalog and
synchronistically found her book on a bookshelf at the
bookstore.  The themes of her teachings were
familiar and comforting, as they confirmed the thoughts
and ideas my father had shared with me shortly before
his passing.  Her books and workshops ignited my
spiritual curiosity, setting me on my soulful life path,
which led to the very creation of
                        SoulfulLiving.com!  Carol's participation has been
an integral part of SoulfulLiving.com, at its soul
level!  Thank you, Carol, with all my heart!~Valerie, Founder and Soul, SoulfulLiving.com

 Happy Birthday!
The Gift of Your In-born Personal Strengths
“I can’t help being curious about the next big thing,” says Jane, an entrepreneur in the fashion accessory
business. Jane, born on October 5th, exemplifies the active, forward-thinking energy of her 5 day of birth.    Numerology is an ancient science, which has appeared in many civilizations, and is currently experiencing a resurgence.  Similar to astrology,
numerology proposes that each of us is born into the world with a personality and life force that leans in specific directions. We arrive in the world on a certain date, and are given a name at birth. Both name and date mysteriously reveal—and set us upon-- the path we are born
to develop.  By knowing the spiritual meaning of the numbers and letters we can confirm our nature--from what is easy or challenging--to the major timing periods of our life span.   It’s Just You, Baby Strengths are behaviors and ways of thinking that we can’t help doing—whether we get paid for it or not.  For example, you might be the type who
loves to check out the latest research on healing or medical innovations.  Or, you might be a natural teacher who loves nothing better than organizing a bunch of material on a subject and sharing it with a group—or anybody who’ll listen!  You might be extremely independent, and
question the “normal ways of doing things.” Quick to find a need and fill it, you take a leap of faith and establish a your own company to provide the service needed.   The world needs all our talents and strengths—we just have to let them unfold by naming them, claiming them, and following our intuition with
practical actions. Strength also comes from respecting our sense of “readiness,” timing, the timing of others in our life, and the “eco-system” in which we
live—such as competition in the marketplace, social customs, and the current economic climate. The Power of “Just Right” It’s important to remember that every quality appearing in our numerological analysis can be a strength, when used with the right intentions and
application, or it can become a detriment if under-used or over-used.  To find the power of our personal strengths, therefore, means that we must stay in touch with balance in our lives. Being independent is a strength.  Being stubborn or prideful is not. Yoga, for
example, reminds us of the power of a balanced action—one that is neither over-efforting nor overly surrendering. Know Thyself is Still the Ticket to Happiness  By recognizing our natural tendencies—and allowing them expression—we usually find ourselves doing what we love to do.  By following what
interests us, and honing our skills, we have the best chance of feeling on track and fulfilled.  This doesn’t mean that we ever stop growing.  No matter where we are in life, we can keep deepening our foundation by knowing ourselves and following what energizes us. What Your Day of Birth Reveals About your Strengths  Let’s look at your own day of birth and find it’s numerological meaning.   According to the system of numerology, your day of birth is a strong part of your personality and how you approach life. Find your day of birth number below.  Dates are grouped according to the “root number” of the day.  For example, to find the root number of
19—add 1 + 9 = 10.  Continue adding 1 + 0 = 1.  The root of 19 (as well as 10 and 28) is 1. If, after reading your day of birth strengths below, you don’t think your day of birth really describes you, try adding ALL the numbers of your
birth date.  Then read the description for that number.  For example if your birth date is March 8, 1945, add all the numbers and continue adding till you get one digit. 3 + 8 +1 + 9 + 4 + 5 = 30 = 3 + 0 = 3.   Your strengths always are a complex matrix of all the numbers in your birthdate and even your name—the subject for another time! Day of Birth—Strengths and Weaknesses
 Day of Birth--1st, 10th, 19th, 28th
1 -- Strengths—INNOVATION AND LEADERSHIP Your success springs from following your inquiring intelligence.  Your assertiveness and ability to be a self-starter ready to take action take you into new territory. You tend to be future-oriented, possibility-minded, and an original thinker.  When
enthusiastic about something you can be very persuasive and charismatic. Naturally drawn to speculative ventures or having your own business, you can also do extremely well in leadership positions in established companies. While you excel in precision and quality-control, it’s
wise to avoid going to the extreme of perfectionism. If under-using the qualities of 1, you may become listless, overly-cautious,  give up too soon, or try to cut corners. Balance lies in having faith in yourself, but also being willing to consider other people’s point of view.
Lesson?  Be yourself, not a copy.  Patience and learning to listen help you succeed. Day of Birth--2nd, 11th, 20th, 29th
2 -- Strengths— CO-OPERATION AND PATIENCE Your success springs from the ability to be very sensitive to your surroundings and people’s feelings—even when they are not openly saying anything.  Your ability to handle detail work and to pace yourself allows for quiet, slow, but sure development. You
may be shy, but people value your friendship (and soothing manner) once they know you. Your knack for knowing the right people helps you advance in surprising ways. You are creative in a focused way—as in art, graphic design, or computer programming.  If over or
under-using the qualities of 2, you may be a little too blunt, overly-cautious, or easily discouraged. Balance lies in developing a unique skill, and accepting that your pace may be different from more aggressive types. Lesson?  Listen to your heart.  Developing a  hobby may lead
					to a prosperous business! Day of Birth--3rd, 12th, 21st, 30th
3 -- Strengths— CREATIVITY AND COMMUNICATION You natural enthusiasm is contagious!  Success is often an unexpected outcome, as you generally do things just because you like to try something new—not because you are a planner.  The driving force of your unceasing curiosity, in addition to your knack
for  creatively combining things, ensures—if not success—a fun ride! You tend to be a “jack-of-all-interests.”  Active and positive at the beginning of a project, you lose interest once the thrill is gone. You like things to be easy, and can motivate others—who then can carry the
ball, You are naturally drawn to sales, education, public speaking, entertainment, or marketing. If under-using the qualities of 3, you may become listless, cynical, overly-cautious, give up too soon, or try to cut corners. Balance lies in challenging yourself to learn new
things, and also have plenty of free time to pursue your many interests. Lesson?  Don’t be a rolling stone forever. Day of Birth--4TH, 13TH, 22ND, 31ST
4 -- Strengths— COMMONSENSE AND MANAGEMENT You will always have work!  The number 4 is called the Builder. Your success is built on planning, professionalism, a grasp of essentials, and follow-through. People may be amazed at your ability to stick to something until you get results. Your strength
lies in your uncanny ability to scan for information and organize it into practical applications. Not a theorist, you are naturally drawn to pursuits where you can learn something and put ideas to use. Reliability and thoroughness are two of your greatest strengths.  Your natural
competent manner is very calming.  If over or under-using the qualities of 4, you may be a little too stubborn, overly-cautious, or a work-aholic. Balance lies in working with enthusiasm not grimness or a scarcity mentality. Lesson?  Take each day as it comes.  Develop an
understanding of Law of Attraction and get into the habit of visualizing the results you want in addition to your physical efforts! Day of Birth--5th, 14th, 23rd
5-- Strengths—ADAPTABILITY AND MULTI-TASKING Your greatest strength is your adventurous and curious spirit. You could easily find success in many different careers during your lifetime.  You may secretly wonder if you are a dilettante, because you don’t know what you want to be when you grow up.
Don’t worry! You were born to be explore and experiment.  Once you’ve mastered something, it’s time to move on. Freedom is everything to you, so you are likely to be self-employed.  Energetic, you easily rebound from disasters and setbacks.  Great in crisis management, you’d be a
great para-medic or FEMA responder.  You are naturally drawn to sales, event management, public speaking, entertainment, or marketing. If under-using the qualities of 5, you may temporarily fall into self-indulgence or cutting corners that could diminish your reputation. Balance
lies in exploring new things, but not running away when things get hard. Lesson?  Don’t burn bridges. Day of Birth--6TH, 15TH, 24TH
6 -- Strengths— RELIABILITY AND KNOWLEDGE You are the Rock of Gibralter to the people who know you.  The number 6 is called the teacher/healer. Reliability and conscientiousness are two of your greatest strengths.Your natural ability to seek out solutions and take care of things in a responsible
manner creates endless opportunities for fulfillment. Throughout your life, you are surrounded by people who benefit from your nurturing, knowledge, or service. Your strength lies in your desire to make sure people get what they need. Intelligent without being intellectual, you
do well in service-oriented practices and family-owned or traditional businesses. If over-using the qualities of 6, you tend to work so hard you get burnt out. If under-using your ability for service, you might become cynical, intolerant, or self-seeking. Balance lies in taking
care of yourself as well as others. Lesson?  Get paid well for what you do well. Day of Birth--7th, 16th, 25th
7 -- Strengths— ANALYTICAL AND OBJECTIVE Your strength lies in the ability to unearth what is hidden—pursuing avenues that don’t interest the average person.  Your driving force is to know--giving you a ferret-like ability to dig beneath the surface of any subject.  Not interested in
conventional ideas, you are an independent-thinker.  Although the future of a subject intrigues you, you prefer to mine the wealth of the past to explain things today.  When speaking of what you know well, you become charismatic. You often choose to be the
specialist within a company, so that you don’t have to worry about attracting a client base. However, you may eventually break out on your own after establishing your niche.  If under-using the qualities of 7, you may become hackneyed. An over-emphasis on data research could
create social isolation or problems in office politics. Balance lies in sharing what you know, as well as getting away from the computer and taking time for physical activities. Lesson? As the right questions. Day of Birth--8TH, 17TH, 26TH
8 -- Strengths— ORGANIZED AND RESULT-ORIENTED Not one to let grass grow under your feet, you are unwilling to be in a subordinate role or to let others control your life.  An executive by nature, you enjoy making decision and seeing the results of your labor. Your success springs from your position of
authority. You innately understand how to move up any hierarchical system—whether it be in the government, military, an educational system, or a corporate ladder. You are naturally drawn to power and decision-making positions. While you excel in leadership, you may need to learn
patience and compassion. If under-using the qualities of 8, you may become manipulative, a complainer, flatterer, or resentful of authority. Balance lies in working hard for what you want, but also giving yourself and others a break once in a while.  Lesson? Money (and status)
					isn’t everything. Day of Birth--9TH,  18TH, 27TH
9-- Strengths— PHILOSOPHICAL AND HUMANITARIAN In love with life and all it’s possibilities, you enjoy learning, teaching, and creating.  You may find yourself in a relatively humble position, in which you are well-loved by the ordinary people whom you see everyday.  Or, through fortunate
circumstances—perhaps with no effort on your part-- you find yourself on the world stage. As a representative of the number 9, you are interested in healing world issues and understanding humanity. Your natural ability to inspire others by your unfailing good will brings much
success in any line of work. Throughout your life, you seek ways to improve conditions. Your strength lies in your emotional intelligence and selfless generosity.  If under-emphasizing the characteristics of 9, you may feel things so deeply you become discouraged or despondent—or
even cynical and intolerant.  If selflessly dedicated, you could achieve much in the public arena, while failing to connect in a personal way. Balance lies in taking time to renew after a period of giving. Lesson?  Keep expanding your network of contacts. © Copyright 2007 Carol Adrienne, Ph.D. All Rights Reserved.
